Waitangi ~ 9M Marae

On Wednesday the 4th of September we had to stay in Social Studies all day. Wheara Monika, Keri and Tara from the Waitangi treaty came over to our school and made a Marae so we all could put our creative pou and pepeha inside.
We spend most of our day doing our Sculpt GL because nobody finished their pou, we had to put patterns and stuff that means alot to us on our pou.

After we were done with writing our pepeha and creating our pou Whaea Kerry created a marae in VR and put all our finished work in inside of the virtual world.
Whaea then said to make Decorations for our VR Marae world on tinkercad which is a website that you can make 3D things on and so everyone took part and did some work.

In Conclusion I had an alright day and it was pretty fun finishing our work surprisingly.

Waitingi Trip

On the 1st of August 2019, year 9 Miro went to Waitingi for two days to learn how to use technology and learn more about our kiwi culture, the first day of Waitingi we were split up into boy and girls, for the first half of the day the girls got to play with the tech first and the boys went into the museum and the second half we swopped but the girls got to go outside cause it stopped raining.

For the second day we didn't get to go cause Waitingi had a power cut and the tech part of the building was closed and so we couldn't do our Stories.
Our Stories were suppose to be base on our life and what it is like to be a kiwi and what i like about it. we were allowed to use so many apps, like Tinkercad, paint 3D, Stop Motion
and Etc...
my most favourite out of all of them was paint 3D and i was gonna do my story kinda like a draw my life thingy since i like drawing and its funner draw You're life instead of recording or talking about it.
